• Baby don't got assay no more

   

  New blog! New blog!

  It was time to move on. My old username, babygotassay, is no longer relevant. Since creating my old account four years ago, I have experienced many milestones, including graduating from college, entering a PhD program, getting married, and deciding to pursue a career path outside of scientific research. Neither being babied nor doing bio-assays seem appealing to me anymore. It was time for a change.

  Here are some of the new blog names I considered:

  • Glass of Sherry (a la cup of joe)
  • ln Sherry (i.e. the natural log of Sherry. obviously the coooolest blog name ever)
  • Merry Sherry
  • Text and the City
  • Life Pun Ditz
  • Pursuit of Sappiness
  • Just My Type
  • Girl on url Action

  In the end, I decided on Spirited Sherry.

  When I was merely 3 years old, I gave myself my own english name. The spelling I chose is exactly like sherry the wine. Out of all the names in the name book, I'm not sure why I was drawn to this one. Over time, it's truly become a part of me.

  Sherry can be either sweet or dry. Under different conditions, it can be either light or dark. With age, it develops character and becomes fuller and richer. But no matter what the variables, Sherry is always fortified with spirit.

  I'm not always merry. One day, I may not continue to live in the city. Unfortunately, I'm not nearly cool enough to have a natural log function. And who knows if girl on url action is just a phase. But, hopefully, I will always have a spirited nature and my blog will prove to be enjoyable! Well, at least in moderation...
